The second of Toruń markets is a main square in the old craftsmen’ part of the town. In its centre there is a 19th century former evangelical church.
The castle was erected in 1425 upon the order of king Władysław Jagiełło. It was situated on the left bank of Vistula River, opposite Teutonic Order-governed Toruń.
The 52-metre cathedral tower is a great viewing point. To get there one has to take over 200 steps.
The Church of the Holy Spirit is late Baroque, and was erected in the mid-18th c.
Fort IV was built in the years 1878-1884 as one of the elements of Toruń’s system of fortifications.
