Bulwar Filadelfijski (Philadelphia Boulevard) is a perfect place for a walk – it goes along the Vistula River bank from which the strollers can admire the beautiful view of the city – especially the monumental defence walls – and bridges which connect the Vistula banks. When the weather is nice it is great to sit there, relax or even sunbathe. The summer period offers an attraction of cruises by ‘Wanda’ tourist boat and ‘Katarzynka II’ boat. Open-air cafes on the barges which moor along the bank are open for guests in the summer season.
Bulwar Filadelfijski is also an important place in the history of our cinematography – this is where, among other places, the classic Polish comedy ‘Rejs’ (‘The Cruise’) directed by Marek Piwowski was shot. It is commemorated by information plates and graffiti with film quotes.
